We are delighted to be able to share an announcement about the future direction of Swan Medical Group which will ensure we continue to grow into an exceptional, thriving business with the ability to deliver an outstanding service to patients across the area.

We are very pleased to share with you that Riverside Kelsey Surgery situated in Liss, will be joining Swan Medical Group from 1^st January 2024.

As you will probably be aware from the national media, the NHS is facing a particularly challenging time at present, having to deal with an increasingly ageing population with more complex health needs. It is not just demands for our services which are increasing, there are also increasing demands on the limited NHS budget, which can only stretch so far.  So, we are acting now to pool our resources and clinical expertise to ensure the long-term sustainability of both our practices.

All existing surgery sites at Petersfield, Liphook (2) and Liss (2) including the Riverside Kelsey Surgery will remain open to patients, increasing accessibility across the new practice’s geography.  Staffing levels across all teams will be reviewed to ensure we can appropriately deliver services as required in line with the increase in patient numbers.  We will look to extend a consistent approach across all sites for our services, with best practice being shared across the newly merged group in the months ahead.

All existing patients will remain registered with their current registered GP, and there will be no change to patient services across Swan Medical Group.

We believe that this merger is the best way to ensure future resilience for our practice and for us to continue to provide the best service we can to our patients.
