Withdrawal of Ear Syringing Service

As widely reported in the media, General Practice is currently working in times of unprecedented pressure so Swan Medical Group, like other local practices, has had to look at the services it provides and prioritise them in order of clinical necessity as we have limited resources available.  As you may not be aware, ear syringing is outside of our contractual obligations, which means it is unfunded work that the Practice is doing, therefore in consultation with the GP Partners and nursing team and as is common practice in other areas, a difficult decision was made to withdraw the Ear Syringing service with immediate effect.
